Advocating in Context: Shifting the Narrative in Ohio's Opioid Crisis
"Virtual Legal Summit"
September 17, 2021, October 15, 2021, November 19, 2021, and December 17, 2021
All sessions will be virtual!
The Legal Department at the Office of the Ohio Public Defender is excited to bring you a virtual training to assist defense attorneys in representing clients impacted by the opioid crisis. Each session will be led by experts in their respective fields, including individuals directly impacted by drug-related prosecutions. We are requesting that this course be approved for 12.75 CLEs (11.75 General & 1 Professional Conduct) by the Supreme Court of Ohio’s Committee on Continuing Legal Education.
To register, please complete the registration form and return it to Terri Wilson via fax 614.644.9972 or email, terri.wilson@opd.ohio.gov. Tuition checks can be mailed to Terri Wilson and made payable to the Ohio Public Defender. The registration deadline to attend all four sessions is Wednesday, September 1, 2021. If you need additional time to submit payment, please notify Terri Wilson, but registration forms must be received by Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Registrants who wish to register for individual summit days must do so no later than 30 days prior to each individual session.
