Commission
The Ohio Public Defender Commission is a nine-member board appointed by the Ohio governor and the Supreme Court of Ohio for the purpose of overseeing the Office of the Ohio Public Defender. Commission members are generally practicing attorneys with experience in providing representation in criminal matters to indigent persons. The Commission meets at least quarterly and may meet at other times pursuant to the call of the chairman or state public defender. The Ohio Public Defender Commission will hold a quarterly meeting on Friday, September 30th at 10 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency 420 Superior Avenue East, Cleveland, Ohio 441144.
