Dorian Hall
Supervisor, Mitigation and Investigative Section
Dorian Hall has been with the Ohio
Public Defender since 1988, first working as a
Mitigation Specialist, and currently as supervisor of
the Mitigation and Investigative Section.
Hall has been a Licensed Social
Worker since 1992, and is a member of the National
Association of Sentencing Advocates and the National
Defender Investigator Association. Before working with
the Ohio Public Defender, she was a social worker for
the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and the
mental health liaison for the County Corrections
Center I in Columbus, Ohio.
Hall earned a Masters in Sociology
from Ohio State University in 1987, and also holds a
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from
Miami University.
